The country code reset itself. On several builds the dropdown snaps back to a default when the keyboard opens, so a perfectly good ten-digit number is submitted against the wrong country. Look at the prefix, not at the digits you are certain about.

The one-time code is sitting in a promotions folder. Jio and Airtel both file service messages into buckets most people never scroll. Check there before you tap resend. Stacking three resend requests puts you further back in the same queue, not nearer the front.

The page will not render at all. Some Indian ISPs resolve domains in this category inconsistently, so a sign-in screen that is blank on mobile data often opens on Wi-Fi, and occasionally the reverse. Switching network takes ten seconds and tells you far more than clearing your cache does.

There is a fifth cause that is not a login fault at all: an account under review. That is a payments or identity flag, and no amount of retyping touches it. Raise one ticket with your registered number and the rough time of your last successful sign-in, then wait. Do not open a second account while you wait, because duplicate accounts are the most common reason a balance gets voided outright.

The screen, field by field

Two fields and a button. The first accepts the mobile number the account was created with, prefixed +91. The second takes the password you set at sign-up. If you registered with an email address the first field will accept that instead, though almost nobody in India ends up on that route because the code arrives faster by SMS.

A captcha or a one-time code appears in two situations: after a failed attempt, or on a handset the account has not been seen on before. That is friction, not a fault, and it is doing something useful.

A clean sign-in, in order

Step 1: Launch from a home-screen shortcut you made yourself. Not a search result, not a link forwarded in a group chat. Lookalike domains in this category are cheap to register and are the least expensive way in the world to lose an account.

Step 2: Make sure you are on the Login tab. Most builds open first-time visitors on Register, and people type valid credentials into a sign-up form more often than you would guess.

Step 3: Confirm +91, then enter the number.

Step 4: Enter the password deliberately. A password manager beats browser autofill, especially on a handset other people in the house pick up.

Step 5: Clear the captcha or the code step if one appears.

Step 6: Read the wallet balance in the header before you touch a game. If the figure is not what you left behind, deal with that first. Playing through a balance you do not understand makes the eventual support ticket much harder to write.

Three screens worth finding on day one

Open the profile menu once while nothing is urgent and locate these.
